COTHM Students Receive Rescue 1122 Emergency Response Training

Reinforcing its commitment to producing well-rounded hospitality professionals, COTHM Pakistan organized a comprehensive Rescue 1122 First Aid and Emergency Response Training Session for students enrolled in the Diploma in Culinary Arts-06 and Graduate Diploma in International Culinary Arts-06 programs.

The interactive training session focused on essential first aid techniques, emergency preparedness, and rapid response procedures, providing students with practical knowledge that extends far beyond culinary excellence. Conducted by professional Rescue 1122 trainers, the session emphasized the importance of remaining calm, confident, and prepared during medical emergencies and workplace incidents.

Students received hands-on instruction in basic life-saving techniques, emergency response protocols, injury management, and accident prevention—skills that are increasingly valued across the global hospitality industry, where guest safety and employee wellbeing remain top priorities.

The initiative reflects COTHM’s holistic approach to hospitality education, ensuring that graduates are not only technically proficient in culinary arts but also equipped with the professional competencies needed to create safe and responsible working environments.

Speaking on the occasion, COTHM management highlighted that hospitality is built on care, responsibility, and service.

“A great chef is not only defined by culinary talent but also by the ability to protect, assist, and respond confidently in times of need. Safety and preparedness are fundamental values in the hospitality industry.”

The Rescue 1122 training was highly appreciated by students, who described the session as both educational and empowering. By combining culinary education with emergency preparedness, COTHM continues to prepare future hospitality professionals to meet international industry standards while fostering confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Through initiatives like these, COTHM remains dedicated to developing skilled professionals who are ready to excel in kitchens, hotels, restaurants, and hospitality establishments around the world.
