Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially resumed its direct flight service between Lahore and Manchester, restoring a key international route after a gap of six years. The inaugural flight departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s efforts to rebuild its international network.
The reinstated route is expected to provide greater convenience for thousands of passengers, particularly the large Pakistani diaspora residing in the United Kingdom. Direct flights will significantly reduce travel time while offering an easier and more comfortable journey between Punjab and one of the UK’s largest cities.
